We have had many request for this item. We kept getting feedback that everyone loved the idea of having the longer rail on top of their rifle but they didn't like loosing their rear site. Well.....we heard the feedback and now we have done something about it. This is the same low rise scope mount that we developed several years ago but we have taken it one step farther by adding a flip up rear peep site. The rear peep site will allow the shooter to have a much longer site base.
